1st Welder to Receive New Industry Standard
Thatcham Quality Accreditation Certificate
Stanners Equipment Ltd and Elektron are proud to announce another accreditation for the ‘No. 1 Selling’ Elektron MI-100 Control Inverter Welder. This Thatcham accreditation now adds to the long list of Manufacturer Approvals that this welder meets.

Thatcham has set a standard to measure the performance of the equipment, ensure specifications stated are correct and check the quality and integrities of the machine. This gives bodyshop’s the confidence to purchase the correct capital equipment first time, suitable for now and the future.
Thatcham research / accreditation team visited the Elektron Factory, in Bremen, Germany. This enabled the Thatcham team to investigate manufacturing processes, quality control and future developments. “I am now pleased to state in full fact ‘Elektron and Stanners Equipment Ltd’ are the true leaders in the welding market”, comments Wolfgang Paltinat, Head of Sales / Marketing, Elektron, Bremen.
The Elektron MI-100 Control Inverter Welder, records and analyses every spot weld. With Impedance measuring, this records the amperage, pressure, quality of the weld, giving a pass or fail indication, together with operator ID, Welder ID, Vehicle Details, allowing the operator to print out a report. The user friendly MI-100 Control Welder has a choice of welding guns, X Pliers & C Type Pliers, both with a wide range of arms, giving the customer / car manufacturer their preferred option.
